A month after Thunderbirds product manager, Ryan Lee Sipes, tweeted that a mobile version of the email client was 'coming soon', the project has announced how it will do it. New features and improvements will be introduced before that happens to make sure Thunderbird desktop users have a positive user experience. The app will stick to the original name for now, but will be renamed eventually. So I would like to fix the default status of every event I create with Thunderbird Calendar to Confirmed. The Thunderbird version for Android displays the name of the account the message was sent to, if more than one account is available. The cross platform email client Thunderbird is to launch an Android version, which will be based on the existing K-9 app. K-9 Mail, which will become Thunderbird for Android in the near future, is a popular mobile email client for Android. That is a big trouble when I want to edit or check the event on any calendar app on my phone (running /e/ OS which is an Android derivative) because the app always asks me if I will assist the event (without remembering my answer on next view/edit).
